The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness is recovering after being involved in what witnesses have described as a “bloody bar brawl”.
The singer was out supporting bandmate Tom Parker, who was dj-ing at Villa club in Epping, Essex, and celebrating his girlfriends birthday.
Things turned sour at around 1:30am when Jay got into an argument with people on a nearby table. Witnesses say the result was Jay being dealt a blow to the face, and was later removed from the venue by a doorman.
